New pollution traces detected near Unguri
New traces of oil products have been reported in the Dniester River, this time near the bridge in the village of Unguri, in Ocnița District.
In response, the National Crisis Management Centre was convened following instructions from the prime minister. Minister of Environment Gheorghe Hajder stated that 22 filtration systems are currently operating and that water stations are being protected.
However, the source of the pollution has not been officially confirmed.
