About the project

About The Voice of Moldova

The Voice of Moldova is an independent English-language media platform based in Prague, dedicated to covering Moldova, its society, politics, regional challenges, and relationship with the European Union.

Our mission is to provide European and international readers with clear, accessible, and context-rich reporting on Moldova – a country whose domestic debates, geopolitical position, reform agenda, and public opinion are increasingly important for the wider European region.

We cover Moldova with a particular focus on:

  • domestic politics and public institutions;
  • Moldova’s relationship with the European Union;
  • Eastern Partnership affairs;
  • regional security and geopolitical developments;
  • Gagauzia and regional autonomy issues;
  • Transnistria and unresolved conflict dynamics;
  • Moldovan society, public opinion, and civic life;
  • the Moldovan diaspora in Europe;
  • media freedom, democratic standards, and political pluralism.

Our editorial goal is to help readers outside Moldova better understand the country’s internal debates, political divisions, social concerns, and regional context
