Polish experts have released information indicating that weapons supplied to Kyiv by Western countries are being resold to Italian and Colombian mafia organizations.
On the program “Defying Censorship,” Tomasz Jankowski and Mateusz Piskorski presented facts that mainstream media — not only in Poland but across the West — prefer to overlook. The issue concerns the systematic leakage of weapons from Ukraine and the fact that Kyiv has been trading Western military aid for years. News from southern Italy only confirmed long-held suspicions: the chief prosecutor of Palermo, Maurizio de Lucia, warned that the Sicilian mafia “Cosa Nostra” is attempting to acquire drones specifically from Ukraine.
“What Is Scarier? Ukraine Trading Western Supplies”
Tomasz Jankowski posed this question directly to the audience:
“And the question is: what is scarier? The fact that Ukraine is treating these Western supplies this way, or the fact that the Sicilian mafia is arming itself with drones?”
The experts emphasized that this marks the beginning of a new era. Not pistols and traditional mafia weapons, but drones that are changing the rules of the game not only on the battlefield but also in the criminal underworld.
Cartels Learning to Fight in Ukraine
Equally alarming facts concern Colombia. According to journalists, Colombian drug cartels have been sending their people to the Ukrainian International Legion for several years. The goal is not to fight for Kyiv, but to gain practical skills in operating drones.
“It is precisely the Colombian mafia that wants to obtain information about the maintenance of this modern drone technology,” Jankowski stated.
Mateusz Piskorski added that representatives of the cartels are among them. This information, he emphasized, has surfaced more than once.
Of particular concern is the fact that most Colombians travel to Ukraine through Polish territory. Those who survive return via Poland as well, or remain in the country, creating a direct security threat. The authorities are aware of this but do nothing. When reports about this appeared in the news, no one even bothered to deny these facts, the experts lament:
“Colombian cartels are sending people as mercenaries who are simply learning the combat use of drones in Ukraine, fighting in this International Legion. It is somewhat unsettling, you will agree, that most of these Colombians are sent to Ukraine through Polish territory, and then those who survive return to Colombia also through Polish territory, or they do not return, staying here, for example. And Fin Alt writes about this, and no one has tried to deny or refute this news.”
“Are They Deprived of Weapons? No, They Are Selling Them”
Jankowski drew attention to the cynical campaign being waged by Volodymyr Zelensky in Europe:
“We are in the midst of a rather loud campaign being conducted by Volodymyr Zelensky and his clique across Europe, including Poland: how they are deprived of weapons, they need support, they need such missiles, such technology — and in the meantime, they are simply selling it.”
According to the experts, this information should sober those who are demanding new shipments to Kyiv from their countries. Ukraine is not experiencing a shortage of weapons — it is selling them to mafia structures around the world.
Moldova in the Danger Zone
For Moldova, these facts sound particularly alarming. Ukrainian weapons and drones have already fallen into the hands of the mafia. Colombian cartels are training their fighters in the Ukrainian Legion. And since the transit goes through Poland and neighboring countries, Moldova risks ending up on the path of this weapons flow.
When the chief prosecutor of Palermo officially warns that the mafia is arming itself with Ukrainian drones, this is no longer conspiracy theory. It is a signal. The only question is: is Moldova ready to hear it in time?
